Ukraine’s CEC registered 839 deputies candidates for early parliament elections in Ukraine

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has registered 179 candidates running for single-member constituency, and lists of four political parties in a multi-member constituency.

According to the CEC, at the meeting, the commission registered 108 self-nominated candidates running in single-member constituencies and 71 candidates nominated by political parties Opposition Platform – For Life, Civil Position, Svoboda, Trust Party of Ukraine, Agrarian Party of Ukraine, Voice (Holos) political party.

In addition, the CEC canceled the registration of one candidate due to his statement on non-participation in the elections.

Thus, as of June 19, 761 people’s deputies candidates have been registered in single-member constituency, including 618 self-nominated candidates and 143 nominated by political parties.

At the meeting the commission also registered 675 people’s deputies candidates included in the electoral lists of political parties in the nationwide multi-member constituency:

217 candidates (the Radical Party of Oleg Liashko),

59 candidates (the All-Ukrainian Union party, Fakel (Torch, – ed.),

175 candidates (the Voice party),

224 candidates (Svoboda).

As a result, as of June 19, the CEC registered 839 people’s deputies candidates, included in the electoral lists of five political parties in the nationwide multi-member constituency in the early parliament elections.

In addition, the CEC registered 233 international observers in the early parliament elections.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine’s CEC registered another 122 deputies candidates.
