The Austrian Supreme Court will consider on Tuesday, June 25, the possibility of extraditing Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash to the United States, Radio Svoboda reports.
Dmytro Firtash was charged in 2014. According to the federal prosecutor’s office in the Northern District of Illinois, he was implicated in bribing Indian officials to make a profitable mining deal for selling titanium to the Boeing company.
Firtash was arrested in the spring of 2014, but released after paying USD 174 million bail. Since then, he has been disputed regarding his extradition to the United States.
As The Journalist reported, Court obliged Odesa Port Plant to pay Firtash’s company more than USD 250 mln.
