In Poltava oblast there are carriers of malaria. It is reported by the regional laboratory center of the Ministry of Health.
As it became known, in the given case malaria has been brought from Africa.
“We draw attention to the presence of malaria carriers in the region and the period of possible malaria transmission at the moment”, the message says.
According to a recent information, in Lviv a businessman on his return from Sudan and Congo, saw a doctor. He was diagnosed with moderate tropical malaria. A few days later, the man died.
