The representative of the President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Cabinet of Ministers, Andrii Gerus, has asked market participants to react to the changes in the price situation for diesel fuel and reduce existing prices. He wrote this on his Facebook page.
Gerus noted that it was not about the desire to carry out manual regulation of prices, but emphasized that the state should monitor the markets in order to avoid market failure.
According to Gerus, a significant reduction of the price in the wholesale segment of the diesel fuel market has been recorded during the last month. Such a decrease was 18%, or almost UAH 5 per liter over the past 2 months.
As The Journalist reported, prices for all types of fuel increased in Ukraine.
