Ukraine’s CEC register 481 official observers at early parliamentary election

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has registered 481 official observers at the July 21 elections to the Verkhovna Rada.

According to the CEC, in total 45 official observers were registered at the meeting: 12 from the Federal Republic of Germany and 33 from the World Congress of Ukrainians.

As of July 8, the CEC has registered 481 official observers: 23 from 4 foreign states, 458 from 10 international organizations.

The Commission canceled the registration of 18 deputies candidates following consideration of the applications of Ukraine’s MP candidates running in single-member constituency nominated by political parties, as well as self-nominated candidates, about their refusing to run for elections.

The CEC announced a warning for violation of the deadlines for opening electoral funds accounts for 38 people’s deputies candidates registered in single-member constituency.

As The Journalist reported, CEC registered more than 300 international observers for early Verkhovna Rada elections in Ukraine.
