Ukraine’s CEC registers 755 international observers for parliamentary elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has registered 755 observers from foreign states and international organizations for Ukraine’s early parliamentary elections.

According to the CEC’s secretariat, 157 more official observers were registered at the meeting: 1 from the Slovak Republic, 4 from Japan, 27 from the International Republican Institute (IRI), 125 from the CANADEM international non-governmental organization.

As of July 11, the CEC registered 56 official observers from 9 foreign countries and 699 official observers from 13 international organizations.
