The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, the presidential press service said.
Zelensky congratulated Narendra Modi on his landslide victory in the national parliamentary election and his re-election as Prime Minister of India.
The parties agreed to intensify a political dialogue at the highest level, in particular, agreed on the exchange of visits in the near future and discussed ways of strengthening of economic ties and expansion of military-technical cooperation.
“The parties positively noted the interest of Indian youth to study in Ukrainian higher educational institutions, the growing interest of Indian cinema in our country, traditional popularity of India among Ukrainians,” the press service of the president emphasized.
