On August 1, the militants violated ceasefire regime five times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas, with one Ukrainian soldier reported injured in combat. This was reported by the JFO press center on Facebook.
The illegal armed groups opened fire on the Ukrainian army positions from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the Vostok (“East”) operational-tactical group, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian positions three times near Pavlopil, Krasnohorivka and Vodiane localities.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group Sever (“North”), Ukrainian positions were attacked two times near Popasna and Krymske settlements.
