Nord Stream 2 AG Spokesperson Jens Müller said the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline could be delayed due to a lack of permits from the Danish authorities.
“It depends on when we get permission from Denmark. If we receive it in the near future, then the project will be completed on time. However, due to delays in issuing permits, there is a risk of delaying the project and increasing funds,” Polske Radio reports.
At the same time, according to Müller, the Nord Stream-2 construction in German territorial waters is proceeding according to the schedule. However, due to the lack of Danish permits, work was suspended in the Bornholm area.
The Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline construction may be delayed for 8 months and its cost may rise by EUR 660 million.
As The Journalist reported, OSCE PA adopts resolution against Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream.
