Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s envoy to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said that the new “RADA-4” voting system will be introduced in Ukrainian Parliament during the winter holidays, Ukrinform reports.
Stefanchuk noted that negotiations with the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and with legal services on the preparations for the transition to a new voting system are underway.
“I think that system will be introduced in about six months, and this does not depend on us, this is a technical issue, because it needs to be developed, certified and introduced in the Verkhovna Rada. I really hope – and won’t speak in advance – but I think that we will be able to switch to a completely new voting system during winter holidays,” Stefanchuk said.
He also added that the “RADA-4” voting system has a fingerprint identity sensor.
As The Journalist reported, first session of new Verkhovna Rada to be held on Aug 29.
