US Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker noted that the date of the visit of Ukrainian President Voladymyr Zelensky to the United States has not yet been agreed on, but the United States expects the formation of a new Ukrainian government and the implementation of Zelensky’s initiatives, Priamy reports.
“President Zelensky has not yet had an opportunity to implement his initiatives as the Parliament has not even started to work. I think this will happen in the coming week. And then we will see what Government will be formed, who will become the Prime Minister, who will head the Foreign Ministry,” Volker said.
The US Special Representative also emphasized that the United States is ready to cooperate with the new team on the implementation of all announced initiatives.
As The Journalist reported, Volker believes Ukraine will have to wait Crimea de-occupation for long time.
