Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko in his interview with Die Welt has said the Kremlin is showing the first signs of readiness for de-escalation of the conflict in Donbas.
Ukraine has taken several unilateral ceasefire steps, however, violations by the mercenaries continued. At the same time, the frequency of the shellings dropped significantly, and the death toll decreased accordingly.
At the same time, Prystaiko rejected the assumption that the war in eastern Ukraine would be stopped at the price of surrender of Ukrainian territories.
“We will not surrender the territory of Ukrainian and have notified the Russians about our ‘red lines’. Therefore, we will not allow Russia to set its dominance in parts of Ukrainian territory,” the message says.
As The Journalist reported, Prystaiko reported on Normandy Four talks results.
