German Chancellor Angela Merkel appointed Commissioner for Gas Transit through Ukraine.
This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnyk.
“Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel has appointed Count Bernard Waldersee the authorized German government commissioner to ensure gas transit via Ukraine. It is nice that the special envoy made his first official visit to the Ukrainian embassy in Berlin,” the Ukrainian diplomat emphasized.
