Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs has announced his visit to Ukraine:
“I will pay visit to Ukraine to discuss bilateral cooperation and support of Ukraine during meetings with Speaker Razumkov, Prime Minister Honcharuk and Foreign Minister Prystaiko.”
The Latvian Foreign Minister also added that during his visit to Ukraine he will take part in the opening of the Latvian Square in Kyiv and will visit Zaporizhzhia, where he will open the Honorary Consulate of Latvia in Ukraine.
As The Journalist reported, Latvian Saeima recognized deportation of Crimean Tatars in 1944 as genocide.
