The deputy chairman of the Servant of the People Party Oleksandr Kornienko has said that the draft of the new administrative-territorial structure of Ukraine would not be accepted until February 2020, since amendments to the Constitution must be made first. It is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
“There will be a certain staging. It is caused by the process of amending the Constitution. We cannot accept them before February. Prior to amendments to the Basic Law, we are legally unable to submit draft laws to the Rada, which stipulate another administrative-territorial structure, prefects. But we will work in communication,” Kornienko said.
The MP said that the deputies plan to enter the draft of a new administrative-territorial structure in early November in order to start discussing it with society.
