Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will visit Ukraine

On October 13, a meeting between the Czech President Miloš Zeman and Prime Minister Andrei Bab Andrej Babiš is took place at the residence of the President of the Czech Republic.

The foreign policy advisers to the president’s team were also present at the meeting. Andrej Babiš told reporters that among other issues raised at the meeting was the issue of Ukraine.

“We’ve discussed Ukraine. On November 18, basing on negotiations with President Zelensky, I will fly to visit Ukraine. Karel Havlíček (Minister of Industry and Trade in the Government of the Czech Republic) will also visit Ukraine with an economic mission. Ukraine, of course, is very important for us,” Radio Liberty quoted the Czech Prime Minister, as saying.

Earlier, Czech Prime Minister Babiš invited the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to Prague.

“I invited Mr. President to Prague so that he could meet with the prime ministers of the Visegrád Four,” said Babiš after meeting with Zelensky in New York.
