President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed a number of economic issues and initiatives with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro during his official visit to Japan, according to the president’s press service.
“Brazil is our main trading partner in Latin America. I welcome the expansion of Brazilian companies in Ukraine and Ukrainian ones in Brazil,” Zelensky emphasized.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the prospects of cooperation in the space industry.
Zelensky suggested to restarting a joint Ukrainian-Brazilian project using the Alcantara Launch Center.
The parties stressed that they wanted to expand trade between countries.
Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Brazil for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky thanked Japan for easing visa requirments for Ukrainians.
