Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko has said that Ukraine is not planning a bilateral meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Prystaiko said this at a joint press conference with the Federal Minister of European, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg.
“The short answer is no, we are not planning a bilateral meeting with Putin. We are planning a Normandy Format summit,” Prystaiko emphasized.
According to the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side is grateful to the former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for the offer to organize a meeting between Zelensky and Putin in Kazakhstan, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“As for the Kazakhstan initiative, we have not yet received an official proposal. I think that at this stage Ukraine has enough opportunities to meet, first of all at the Normandy Four summit,” Prystaiko said.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine, Russia will remotely sign protocol on fishing in Azov Sea in 2020.
