President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed on December 11 the law on the state budget of Ukraine for 2020.
According to the Verkhovna Rada website, the law was returned to parliament with the president’s signature.
Recall that on October 18, VR adopted in its first reading the government bill on the state budget for 2020 with revenues in the amount of UAH 1.079 trillion, expenses at UAH 1.170 trillion and deficit ceiling at UAH 95 billion, or 2.1% of GDP.
On November 5, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the parliament a revised draft budget for 2020, finalized for second reading, based on an updated forecast with a GDP growth of 3.7% and an average annual rate of UAH 27/USD.
On November 14, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft budget for 2020 finalized for second reading and as a whole, taking into account the updated forecast of the government with GDP growth of 3.7%.
As The Journalist reported, Law on exemption from taxes of Naftogaz unbundling process entered into force.
