Orphans in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas are issued Russian passports, while propagandists cover children as happy new citizens of Russia, as well as “L/DNR citizens”, as Radio Liberty reported.

Six inmates of a family of guardians and foster families in Dovzhansk (formerly Sverdlovsk) in the Luhansk Oblast received Russian passports and identification documents of the self-styled “Luhansk People’s Republic” (LNR).

Liudmyla Volynets, former adoption specialist with the office of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, said that “passportization” in these occupied territories has long begun, orphans do receive “L/DNR” ID’s.

As you know, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that allows obtaining Russian citizenship in a simplified manner to Ukrainians who previously live in any district of the Luhansk or Donetsk oblasts of Ukraine.
