A group of intelligence officers captured a representative of the Russian-led armed formations, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters (HQ) reported.
A military ticket from the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic was seized from him. The detainee was born in 1991. He testifies that he is member of the armed formations that are part of the Russian-occupying forces.
According to the detainee, he acted as part of a subversive and reconnaissance group aimed to expose the positions, observation posts and firing points of the Joint Forces units.
“While advancing from his own positions and crossing the demarcation line, he was exploded on a mine, which was installed by the Russian occupiers. His associated abandoned him and returned to their positions,” the HQ said.
The Ukrainian military provided the detainee (he received numerous mine-and-explosive wounds – ed.) with the necessary medical assistance and taken him to a military hospital.
“He is currently under the supervision of doctors and is testifying about the criminal activities of the Russian occupation administration,” the HQ emphasized.
