The Ukrainian Ombudsperson Lyudmyla Denysova stated about violation of the rights of the Ukrainian political prisoner Server Mustafayev, who was illegally detained in a Rostov pre-trial detention center in the Russian Federation. Denysova wrote about this on her Facebook.

According to Denisova, Mustafayev is not provided with medical assistance, he is limited in receiving parcels and not provided with food while moving from the pre-trial detention center to the court, not to mention he is unable to take a shower and take walks in the fresh air.

In addition, Mustafayev is systematically deprived of the right to a defense and proper preparation for the trial due to frequent court hearings.

The Ombudsperson requires the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova, to respond appropriately and help to ensure that Ukrainian citizens receive proper conditions of detention in accordance with international standards.
