On March 31, as a result of enemy shelling in Donbas, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and another two were injured. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters.
The militants shelled Ukrainian positions 14 times using 120mm and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
Two enemy shellings were recorded near Krasnohorivka (20 mortar shells), Pisky (10 mortar shells), Avdiivka (32 shells), as well as near Shyrokine, Hnutove, Kamianka, Opytne, Starohnativka.
Also, the enemy fire was recorded in the area of Novotoshkivske, Luhanske and Zaitsevo settlements.
During the enemy shelling, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another two were injured. One member of the Joint Forces sustained a mine explosive injury due to explosion of a Russian-made mine.
Intelligence reported that on March 31, three Russian occupiers were liquidated, another one was wounded. Ukrainian troops also destroyed an enemy infantry fighting vehicle.
