According to Reuters, in the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the global coronavirus pandemic began, all COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.
In total, almost 46,500 cases were reported in the city, which is 56% of all infected people in China.
“The latest news is that by April 26, the number of new coronavirus patients in Wuhan dropped to zero, thanks to the joint efforts of Wuhan and medical staff from around the country,” Reuters quoted National Health Commission spokesman Mi Feng, as saying.
