The Chinese authorities did not allow experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) to participate in the investigation into the origin of COVID-19. This was stated by the WHO representative in China Gauden Galea, Sky News reports.
A national investigation is already underway in China. However, according to Galea, WHO was not invited to take part in it at this stage.
“WHO is making requests of the health commission and of the authorities,” Galea said.
It is clarified that the Chinese authorities did not provide WHO with access to the documentation of two virology laboratories in Wuhan.
