Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba hold a phone conversation with the German Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
The Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and his German counterpart expressed satisfaction with the fact of resuming Normandy format consultations at the level of foreign ministers.
Kuleba and Maas also discussed the next steps that need to be taken to implement the decisions of the Normandy Four summit in Paris and prepare for the summit in Berlin.
“In the context of the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe, which the world will soon celebrate, FM Kuleba raised the issue of building a monument in Berlin to the Ukrainians who died in World War II. According to him, such a monument would be the worthy honoring of their memory,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted.
