Over the past day, 66 health workers and as many children in Ukraine infected with coronavirus. This was announced on May 29, during a briefing by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.
According to Stepanov, 4,411 doctors and 1,693 children fell ill with coronavirus during the lockdown in Ukraine.
Some 8,935 Ukrainians recovered, of which 2,169 are health workers.
The total of 679 coronavirus deaths recorded in Ukraine during quarantine.
The head of the Ministry of Health added that the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases over day were recorded in Chernivtsi region.
