As of the morning of June 26, Ukraine confirmed 41,117 coronavirus cases, up 1,109 on previous day, which is absolutely new anti-record in the country. Most infections were recorded in Lviv, Rivne regions and in the city of Kyiv, according to the press center of the National Security and Defense Council.
For the first time in Ukraine, the number of new COVID-19 cases exceeded one thousand. Although before that, a record high numbers were also recorded in the country.
In addition, yesterday another 19 people died from coronavirus, bringing the overall death toll to 1,086.
The Lviv region became the new anti-leader by the number of new cases, followed by the city of Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Rivne and Zakarpattia regions.
