The Naval Forces of Ukraine can be one of the first in the world to receive a modern American patrol boat Mark VI. This was reported by the commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksiy Neizhpapa in an interview with Radio Liberty.
The naval commander said that these systems are ideal for operations in the Sea of Azov area. “We hope that Mark VI will take its rightful place in our coastal fleet soon. By the way, these U.S. boats have not yet been transferred to any country. Ukraine may become the first after the United States, which will have the Mark VI in service,” the report said.
The advantage of the Mark VI is its multi-vector capabilities. It can be used in any place. It is armed with tactical missiles, anti-mine complex and can carry special forces units on board.
