Coronavirus: Montenegro reimposes quarantine restrictions

Montenegro, which earlier declared its victory over the coronavirus reimposed quarantine measures throughout the country after jump in coronavirus cases, the press service of the government reports.

“Coronavirus epidemic has been declared throughout Montenegro,” the message reads.

Restrictive measures, including the mandatory wearing of protective masks in public places, including by children over 7 years old, will be introduced from July 22.

It is allowed to gather in groups of up to forty people in the street, and up to twenty in premises.

Work of nightclubs, weddings and other festive events are prohibited until August 6.

Catering establishments are allowed to work from 6:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. with restrictions of no more than 2 people at one table at a distance between tables of at least 2 m., without self-service and bars.
