The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Valerii Mishchenko to the post of head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration (RSA).
The corresponding draft presidential decree was approved at a government meeting the day before, on August 5.
Valerii Mishchenko is the owner of a number of agricultural companies in the Kirovohrad region.
Also, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Pavlo Boychuk to the post of Acting Director of the State Enterprise Artyomsol (salt production – ed.).
According to the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Vasyl Mokan, the government made the corresponding decision at a meeting on August 5.
Prior to this appointment, the duties of the acting director of Artyomsol was performed by Vadym Fioktistov.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed the Director of the Financial and Economic Department of the Pension Fund, Tetiana Korol, as Deputy Head of the Fund.
Mr. Mokan clarified that Tetiana Korol was appointed Deputy Head of the Pension Fund “by concluding a civil service contract for the period of quarantine.”
At a meeting held on August 5, the government approved the State Strategy for Regional Development for 2021-2027, which provides for the transition to a territorially state regional policy based on stimulating the use of the territories’ own potential.
