On September 15, at a meeting of the High Council of Justice (HCJ) were considered materials regarding dismissal of judges for general grounds, namely in connection with the filled resignation letters.
The High Council of Justice decided to dismiss Ihor Kushnyr from the position of a judge of the Cassation Economic Court within the Supreme Court; Heorhiy Hoshovsky from the position of a judge of the Zakarpattia Court of Appeal; Oleksandr Mykhaliuk from the position of a judge of the Baranovskiy district court of the Zhytomyr region and Yuri Svetlychny from the position of a judge of the Economic Court of the Kharkiv region.
Consideration of the issue of dismissal of Natalia Liaschenko from the position of judge of the Civil Court of Cassation within the Supreme Court in connection with the submission of a resignation letter has been postponed.
Since the beginning of 2020, 178 judges have resigned on general grounds, namely in connection with the filing of resignation letters. During 2019, 132 judges resigned.
