Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau has said that the EU countries are recalling some of their ambassadors from Belarus for consultations.
“In coordination with European External Action Service, as well as the EU member states, we have decided to recall some of the ambassadors accredited in the Republic of Belarus for consultations,” Rau said.
However, the Polish diplomat did not specify which ambassadors were being recalled.
The European Union has introduced sanctions against Belarus. As of today, 40 Belarus officials are on the sanctions list. In turn, the Belarus authorities have prepared a sanctions list against the EU.
