The foreign ministers of France, the United States of America and Russia called on Azerbaijan and Armenia to immediately end the escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is stated in a joint statement by the ministers.
French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov strongly condemned the escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh. The ministers once again called on the parties to the conflict to cease fire immediately and unconditionally.
The ministers stressed that the shelling of civilian targets poses a threat to the stability of the entire region.
