The Armenian armed forces attempted to open fire at the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan reported a blow at a section of the pipeline in the Yevlakh region. The Prosecutor General’s Office stressed that the pipeline is the largest strategic facility in the region, and also occupies a “special place in the energy security of Europe.”
The press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan denied Baku’s statement on Facebook, calling it “a blatant lie”.
