Almost 35,000 hectares of land have been cleared in Donbas, with more than 450,000 mines and explosive devises removed. This was reported by the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Command.
According to Commander of the JFO, Serhiy Nayev, one of the Joint Forces’ priorities is to preserve lives, rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens. During the demining of the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, about 35,000 hectares of land were cleared, and more than 450,000 mines and explosive devices were seized.
He also noted that 1,705 residential buildings, 1,754 kilometers of road infrastructure were restored, as well as gas, water and heat supply were restored in more than 50 settlements.
