Work on the Podolsko-Voskresensky bridge is ongoing: the process of mounting the arch structure of the bridge in the design position is underway, said the mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko.
“Experts constantly control the loads on the shrouds holding the structure. And in the direction of Troeshchyna, supports for future bridge runs are already ready. The process of concreting the roadway at Rusanivski Sady continues. There, the foundation for the future metro line is being concreted in parallel. From the side of Podil, we begin an important stage – the installation of multi-ton girders towards Verkhniy and Nizhniy Val st. For this, a pontoon platform was assembled. Powerful jacks have already been mounted on it, with the help of which the metal structures of the bridge will be installed,” Klitschko noted.
