A center for countering hybrid threats will be created on the basis of the apparatus of the National Security and Defense Council. The decision is currently being discussed in the President’s Office, the press service of the NSDC reports.
NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danylov said that the NSDC has already developed a draft presidential decree on the creation of such a center.
“We monitor all the processes taking place in the information space around the clock, and we realize that the development of a sustainable system for countering hybrid threats and the creation of an appropriate structure is extremely urgent,” the message says.
He also noted that the new National Security Strategy of Ukraine provides for the development of 14 sectoral strategies, including an information security strategy. Ukraine wants to involve British partners in developing this strategy.
