Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba does not rule out the re-closure of the borders if Ukraine re-imposes a tough lockdown. However, he believes that this is unlikely to happen in the near future, Evropeyskaya Pravda reports.
“If a full lockdown to be introduced, then, obviously, such a measure as closing the borders will be considered. But with the introduction of the weekend quarantine, we managed to avoid a full lockdown option, so I do not expect this issue to be considered at a government meeting in the coming days,” Kuleba said.
Earlier, the minister said that he would oppose the introduction of an entry ban for foreign citizens.
