As of the morning of December 8, Ukraine reported 10,811 new cases of coronavirus, 12,860 people recovered, 195 patients died, Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov said.
“The number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours is 12,860. This figure exceeds the number of cases – 10,811 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine as of December 8, 2020. In particular, 520 children and 512 health workers fell ill. Also, over the past day, 1,319 people were hospitalized,” the minister noted, adding that these data are “positive statistics.”
Over the past day, the most number of confirmed cases was registered in the city of Kyiv (1,475), Odesa (1,043), Zaporizhzhya (948), Poltava (916) and Cherkasy (746) regions.
