The incumbent head of the White House confirmed on December 17, that he will definitely veto the draft law on the US defense budget. He wrote about this on Twitter.
“I will veto the defensive bill, which will make China very upset. They love it,” Trump wrote.
The budget envisaged USD 250 million aid to Ukraine, as well as increased sanctions against Nord Stream-2.
Trump made similar statements about his intention to veto the draft law earlier, when the document was in the US Congress. However, now the bill has been sent for signature to the head of the White House.
