President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Serhii Sergiychuk, head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, who was appointed at the end of August. Temporarily the duties of the head of the Regional State Administration will be performed by the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Viktor Gusak. The corresponding decree was published on the website of the head of state.
The President’s Office does not report the reasons for this decision. The day before, Sergiychuk wrote a post on Facebook with a report on the work done. He did not mention a possible dismissal.
Recall that on August 28, 2020, Zelensky signed a decree on the appointment of an employee of the central office of the SBU Sergiychuk as head of the Cherkasy regional state administration.
