In modern world 152 million children between the ages of five and 17 are forced to work in order to survive. This is reported by UN News.
The International Labor Organization (ILO) notes that today every tenth child between the ages of 5 and 17 is working. At the same time, in the current conditions of the crisis caused by the pandemic, the “army” of working minors is growing rapidly.
The ILO said the main goal for this year is to mobilize the international community with the goal of completely eliminating child labor by 2025.
