Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Urusky has announced the need to accelerate the implementation of the project on launching Ukraine’s own satellite – Sich 2-30 (2-1) – into Earth orbit.
He noted that the Sich 2-30 (2-1) remote sensing spacecraft should be launched by the end of 2021. He believes that this is realistic under condition of “providing necessary work” in most effective way.
Earlier, he reported that President wants to launch a Ukrainian launch vehicle into space by March 2024.
