A former member of the High Council of Justice (VSP), Andrii Vasylenko, dismissed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, filed a lawsuit against him to the Cassation Administrative Court. It was reported on the “Judicial Power of Ukraine” state portal, as Glavcom reports.
The claimant in court requires to recognize the decree of the President of Ukraine of June 10 as unlawful. The above decree cancelled his appointment to the Supreme Court of Justice according to the quota of the head of state.
We remind, Zelensky cancelled Poroshenko’s decrees on the appointment of the GSP members and issued another one on holding an open selection competition for positions of the GSP members.
