Presidential adviser of Volodymyr Zelensky on legal issues Andrii Bohdan announces the submission of a bill on the impeachment of the president to the parliament.
Bohdan said this after the completion of Zelensky’s consultations with the leaders of factions and parliamentary groups regarding the dissolution of Verkhovna Rada.
“It will be necessary to submit. However, I don’t know what the text will be like,” the adviser said, answering the question whether the president would contribute the appropriate legislative initiative.
According to Bohdan, while the bill on impeachment is still being developed by scientists, UNIAN reports about this.
“There were many such attempts among scientists, but we are close to completion,” said the adviser.
Bohdan also noted that the draft law on impeachment will first be submitted for public discussion, and then submitted to the consideration of BP.
As the “Journalist” reported, having won the election, Zelensky will first propose the law on the impeachment of the president.
