The lawyer of the Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko, illegally convicted in Russia, Mark Feigin, could not get to him in the Lefortovo detention center.
Feigin posted this information on Twitter.
«I was not able to met with Roman Sushchenko in the Lefortovo prison. All news will be on the other day,» – said in a statement.
Earlier, the lawyer has announced his visit to Sushchenko, suggesting that this could be their last meeting before Sushchenko will be transferred.
«The question of meeting Sushchenko with his relatives is still open,» – added Feigin.
As The Journalist reported, the Polish Sejm urged the Kremlin to free Ukrainian political prisoners.
