After the parliamentary elections, Zelensky will introduce a bill to lift immunity from deputies, diplomats and judges.

After the election of a new Verkhovna Rada, the President of Ukraine will introduce a bill on lifting immunity, said Ruslan Stefanchuk, the President’s Representative in the Parliament, on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada.

“To the newly elected Verkhovna Rada we, as promised, are going to submit a new constitutional provision, containing the issue of lifting immunity from all three categories (deputies, diplomats and judges. – Ed.).Those officials are not going to have the legal immunity they enjoy today. We proceed from the fact that all Ukraine’s officials should enjoy the same rights as all other Ukrainians”, Stefanchuk quotes UNIAN.
