US destroyer Donald Cook departs Odessa after port visit

The U.S. Navy missile destroyer Donald Cook left the port of Odessa after completing a planned visit to participate in exercises with Ukraine and other allies. This was reported by the press service of the 6th Fleet of the US Navy.
“The U.S. guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) departed Odesa, Ukraine, Feb. 27, 2019, after completing a scheduled port visit as part of our continued Black Sea presence and support to our NATO allies and regional partners,” the report said.
Donald Cook will depart the Black Sea on March 1, as scheduled and will then continue its eighth forward-deployed naval forces patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
