American television channel CNN corrected message about ‘Russian’ Simferopol

As The Journalist reported, American CNN television channel called occupied Crimea as Russian.
In turn, the American TV channel has corrected the erroneous designation of the city Simferopol on the territory of the annexed Crimea after Ukrainian embassy appeal. This was reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States on its Facebook page.

“After the operational appeal of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States and appeals from Ukrainian and foreign audiences, the American television channel CNN has corrected the incorrect designation of the city of Simferopol,” the statement said.

In turn, the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States thanked the team of the American channel for the timely response and interaction.
